The project involves the establishment of a 2X20 MVA, 66/11kV sub-station at Agarabannihatti village. It includes the construction of a 66kV LILO line extending approximately 2.320 kilometers using High Performance Conductor (HPC) in Channagiri taluk, Davanagere district. Additionally, it entails replacing the existing 66kV Benkikere-Devarahalli SC line, which currently uses coyote conductor, with HPC conductor rated for 700 Amps over a distance of 15.680 kilometers from the 220/66kV Benkikere substation to the 66/11kV Devarahalli substation.
